Badlaav is a magazine in print and online about social change in India, initially written and produced by the 2012-2013 cohort of American India Foundation (AIF) Fellows. This once-annual publication is a compendium of voices from across the development sector in India, publishing on issues and questions they face every day. Our second issue was released online in August 2014. The theme is development failures. The writers, all AIF Fellows, offer their perspectives on what failures in the development space can teach and what, at this turning point in India's history, we may be able to expect.
